Established in 1991, The Mansefield Hotel is a privately owned, family run hotel offering accommodation and critically acclaimed Scottish fayre. With 40 luxury rooms and suites, 2 quaint bothy apartments and an additional 10 luxury apartments in the grounds of the hotel, as well as two restaurants and a fabulous, function facility fitted with the latest technology and lighting.
Situated in the heart of the city of Elgin, Morayshire, which is surrounded with beautiful white sand beaches, stunning coastlines, picturesque villages, rolling hills and lush glens all within easy reach. Whether you want to explore historic Castles, play the nearby Golf Courses, or visit the numerous distilleries along the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail, The Mansefield Hotel is perfectly situated for all. Can I check in early?
An early check in before 2.00pm is charged at £25.00 per hour and is subject to availability. Please contact reservations team prior to your arrival date to request an early check in.
Can I have a late checkout?
Late checkouts after 11.00am are subject to availability and are charged at £25.00 per hour. This can be arranged with the Reception Team during your stay.
Does the hotel have car parking?
Complimentary onsite parking is available for up to 80 cars.
Does the hotel have electric car charging?
We have three Tesla Universal Electric Car charging points located in the hotel car park.
These are destination chargers, available for customer use and charges will apply. Recommend to Book direct with the Hotel to ensure availability during your stay.
What time is breakfast served?
Monday to Friday 7.00am to 9.30am

We have a Continental Buffet and all hot food is cooked A la Carte

Does the hotel provide cots?
Yes, however these must be booked prior to arrival.
How far is the city centre?
Less than a 5 minute walk.
How far is the airport?
Inverness Airport is 31 miles, approximately 45 minutes by car.
Aberdeen Airport is 64 miles, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car.
How far is the train station?
Approximately a 10 minute walk or less than 2 minutes by car.
Is the hotel DDA approved?
The Mansefield Hotel is fully approved under the Disability Discrimination Act of 2005. Having access to all areas on a level (without steps) and having lift access to the bedrooms. We have both an Accessible Superior Room and an Accessible Luxury Apartment fitted with accessible doors and hand rails.
Are dogs allowed in the hotel?
We only allow assistance dogs within the hotel.
However, within our on-site apartments (Ground Floor Only), dogs are welcome on a pre-booking system and a daily charge of £35.00 will be added to the room. Please speak to our Reservation team for more details.
Does the hotel have Wi-Fi?
We have complimentary fibre Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
Does the hotel have Airconditioning?
Air-conditioning is available within our Function Room and Pavilion for events.
We do not have air-conditioning within the rooms at the Hotel as due to being close to the Highlands of Scotland it is rare we experience hot weather spells. However, all hotel windows are fully function able and fans are available for rooms.
Does the hotel have Beauty and Hairdressing onsite?
There is a Beauty Spa and Hairdresser on site.

Is the Mansefield environmentally friendly?
Throughout the last few years, amendments and upgrades have been made to the Hotel in the Going Green movement.
Each of our Rooms contain recycling rubbish bins, and throughout the hotel waste products are recycled where available. We work alongside local businesses for recycling our hotel products such as Cardboard, Glass, Metals, Kitchen Oil and food waste.
We have 3 Electric car charges on site available for Guests to use.
Main corridors and public rooms within the Hotel are fitted with LED Lighting, with further upgrade works planned for the future to help the environment further.
