Chef Vacancy

Full Time, Permeant Contracted

This is a full time role, shifts done on a rota basis working 5 out of 7 days, over week days and weekends. The ideal candidate will be fully flexible. Majority of shifts being Evenings.

Daily Duties required:

  • Setting up the Kitchen and organising the equipment required for the shift
  • Food Preparation and stock control
  • Cook guests' orders according to their preferences
  • Acts with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
  • Keeps up with trends in cooking and the restaurant business to ensure that guests have a positive experience
  • Works quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings
  • Keeping the Kitchen in a clean environment after food service
  • Takes direction and works with the Chefs and Restaurant front of house team
  • Ensuring all food plated up is to a high standard
  • Collaborating with the Chefs for the Restaurant Menu and daily specials

Candidate must be flexible for Evening Shifts and Breakfast Shift Cover, day shifts depending on functions & events in place.

On-site training will be provided, experience working within the Hospitality Sector, especially within a busy Kitchen will be looked upon favourable.

Wage: Ranging from £12.50 - £16.00 per hour, all overtime paid. Rate of pay negotiable depending on experience.

Holidays

Holiday entitlement is 28 days across the year. The Hotel closes for the festive period for 7-10 days over Christmas and New Year.

Front of House Restaurant Team Member

We are looking for a experienced and polished candidate who is keen for a part time career within Hospitality

Front of House Team Role, working within the Hotel Restaurant and Hotel Bars.

Working closely with the Reception team to look after Guests and Customers of the Hotel.

Serving the Guests in the Restaurant for evening dinner and bar drinks. Role includes, taking orders, working in the bar, using EPOS Till System, Stock Checks, Replenishing, Looking after the guests, providing high customer service to reflect on the Hotel.

Weekly rota with majority of evening shifts along with occasional morning Breakfast Service shifts. Longer shift work when events taking place at the hotel. Candidate must be available to work weekends and evenings and flexible to work with hotel demands.

Working behind the Bar making guest orders and serving to the Guests. Cocktail Making, Wine Serving and Promoting drink sales.

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment will be looked upon favourably but not essential.

The successful candidate will need to be smart, presentable, social, confident and have a pleasant personality; they will need to be enthusiastic and provide excellent customer service. It is more important that we find the right person for the job.

They will need to be at least 18 years old as they will be serving alcohol. On-site Training will be provided.

Flexible to discuss availability of hours and work with individual schedule to suit both the candidate and needs of the Business. Candidate must be available to work weekends and evenings.

Pay rate is negotiable and will be based on professional experience.

Hotel closes over the festive period - closed over Christmas through to the New Year. Usually 10-14 days closure/holiday period.
